Young Women's Get Out the VOTE

Andrea Gleaves, chair of WIN, attended the University of Southern California studying history and political science. Andrea joined the Obama for America Campaign as a Field Organizer and Youth Vote Outreach Coordinator. Prior to serving as WIN’s Chair, she served as Political Director. She actively volunteers with the DC Rape Crisis Center (DCRCC) and the Rainbow Response Coalition.

Allison Dunatchik, Program Director of Running Start, completed her B.A. in Political Science at American University. In May 2010, Allison received her Women, Policy and Political Leadership Certificate from the Women in Politics Institute. Running Start is a nonprofit that helps girls get a start in a political future with programs and trips to Washington DC.

Val Vilott is a WIN (Women's Information Network) member and reproductive justice advocate. Val currently works for a public relations and campaigns firm, helping nonprofit organizations craft and implement meaningful issue-based campaigns that win on the state and national level. Previously, Val served as an Outreach Associate at the National Women’s Law Center and a National Campus Organizer at the Feminist Majority Foundation. She serves on the Board of local pro-choice organizations and served on the leadership team as a co-chair for the WIN Nonprofit Network from 2010-2011.

Katie Shorey is the Program Director for Clifton Consulting LLC where she helps build training programs and communication strategies for clients. Prior to joining Clifton Consulting, she was a program associate for the Partnership for Public Service, working on the Excellence in Government Fellows Program with the Center for Government Leadership. She also worked for Ray Group International as a Business Analyst, improving healthcare technologies for veterans. Her previous internships include Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (NY), EMILY’s List, and Running Start.
