When discussing the prospects for taking back the House of Representatives, how many times have we been told, “Don’t get your hopes up, Democrats!” With less than two weeks left before the election, what dynamics come into play? Is a 25-seat gain attainable to effect a majority change? Which races should we be following, and which candidates should we support to help turn the House from Red to Blue?
Join us at the Club to hear these questions answered by The Honorable Donna Edwards, who represents Maryland’s 4th Congressional District. Representative Edwards, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives since 2008, also serves as Co-Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) Red to Blue Program. This initiative is a vital part of the DCCC’s strategy to support strong Democratic candidates who have the potential to take out a GOP incumbent or win a Republican-held open seat. The Red to Blue program highlights top Democratic campaigns across the country, and offers them financial, communications, grassroots, and strategic support.
Come learn about competitive candidates from across the country, how you can help expand their base leading up to Election Day, and…TURN THE HOUSE FROM RED TO BLUE!!!
