Come Taste Virginia Wines and Learn How You Can Help the Presidential Campaign in Virginia

The race in Virginia is excruciatingly close. It's winnable, but we'll win with a margin of about 100 votes per precinct. Hands down the best way to get those votes for the President is when citizens talk to other citizens. In other words, those 100 votes per precinct are in our hands. Virginia is ours to win or lose.

So let's win it! Join the Public Policy Committee and WNDC Member Mindy Burrell, Deputy GOTV Director for President Obama’s team in Virginia on Thursday evening, September 27th, 2012. Mindy will provide tips on the most effective ways of hitting the phones and knocking on doors in Virginia, persuading, educating, and motivating voters to turn out in force for the President on Election Day.

In turn, to motivate you, we'll celebrate Virginia with an evening of tasting its wines, hearing Democratic battleground strategy, and mobilizing ourselves as volunteers for the President. To sweeten the deal, we'll offer a bottle of Virginia wine to the person who brings the most friends to the event—ready to commit to volunteering, of course!
