Stuart Brown will present his views on Investing in Today’s Climate. With record low interest rates, budget deficits, slow economy, high unemployment, governmental gridlock, defaulting municipalities, retiring baby boomers, shaky euro zone, strong dollar or weak dollar, continuing housing debacle—what’s an investor to do?

Stuart Brown is Chief Investment Strategist and Portfolio Manager at Warren Capital, a boutique wealth management company in Friendship Heights. From 1983 to 2004 he was a vice president and portfolio manager at EF Hutton through all the various name changes including Smith Barney. He has been leading a series of Financial Literacy seminars at the WNDC, where he serves on the Board of Governors. He is also WNDC Economic/Budget Task Force Chair. Stuart Brown received his B.Ph. from Grand Valley State University in Michigan.
